Thanks for visiting! I'm a songwriter, pianist, and guitarist, and I play throughout Southside Virginia as a soloist and with various groups. I can help your event shine with anything from solo piano to a four-piece combo. I like and play all kinds of music, but my own stuff tends to be Jazz and Pop oriented, with a little bit of Folk and New Age influences in the mix. Take a listen to some of my tracks below, and contact me to learn more!

Free For The Taking (3:09)
Check it out...after all, it's "Free For The Taking"...

Leigh's Lullaby (3:20)
A jazz ballad, dedicated to my wife.

Wishing Well (1:41)
Another one for Leigh.

Elephant Walk (3:50)
A rock tune of mine, with some space-age video game sounds at the end.

Hobbit Moon (3:16)
An original.  Middle Earth is an inspiring place.

Hobbit Moon (alternate version) (2:32)
Some Hobbits may actually prefer this version.

OctoKat (3:10)
Inspired by the late great Horace Silver.

Easy (4:04)
Music for your dreamy place.

Incantation (3:08)
A new original, with lyrics and vocals by the inimitable Laurabella Owens. Also with good friends Paul Robleto on drums and Bob Floor Jr. on guitar.

The Hilliard-Fain standard, one of my favorites.

Won't You? (5:42)
Another original, with lyrics by Laura Owens. That's her on vocals as well, with Scott Walters on trumpet and Malcolm Dendtler on Latin percussion.

Little Softshoe (2:38)
For my good friend Andy.

I Love You (3:05)
I really do!
